When you completed the sign up process, an email was sent to you containing a link you have to click to activate your account before you can login for the first time. Please check your email account, including the spam folder just in case it's there. If you didn't receive this email, it could be because you made a mistake when you typed your email address on the Sign Up page. You can either sign up again with the correct email address, or
ask your teacher to correct the mistake and send you the activation email again.
